We work very hard, dedicate many hours, and bring in some of the best ensemble and movement coaches in the world,” said Stacey Rose, Member of Lions Gate Chorus.

Led by Master 700 Director and 2004 International Quartet Champion, Sandy Marron, LGC continually pushes the boundaries to create highly entertaining choreographed musical packages that are memorable, engaging and of the highest quality. Lions Gate has been continually rewarded for these high standards. In 2017, LGC took home the silver medal and received the Audience Choice award for Most Entertaining Chorus at the Sweet Adelines International Competition. LGC is preparing to have the audience on their feet again this year.

LGC exists to create a safe place for people of all walks of life who are comfortable in an environment that centres on the experiences of women to come together and work toward a common goal of excellence in performance, singing, and leadership.

Lions Gate Chorus rehearses every Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Commercial Drive in Vancouver. Lions Gate accepts new members on an on-going basis.

Chartered in 1954 and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lions Gate Chorus is Canada’s longest-standing Sweet Adelines chorus. With over 100 singing members ages 16-80+, they perform 4-part a cappella harmony at shows, concerts, local events and in competitions.
