INTERNATIONAL NEWS

Lions Gate places 3rd in Houston.  A new record has been set with the Melodeers Chorus scoring 3,091 out of 3,280.
Frenzy places 8th with a score of 2,609.
Martini places 1st with a score of 2,863 and is the 2012 SAI international champion quartet.
We're very proud to announce our quartets' Regional 2011 results:

3rd Place (Reg. 26) - Glow
Frenzy Quartet won the Barbershop Genre at the 2011 Third Place A Cappella Festival, held at the Third Place Commons in Kenmore, WA

Lions Gate Chorus wins gold at Regional 2010 in Calgary with a Region 26 record-breaking score of 697!

  • Vocal style features four-part harmony, mostly in the barbershop style
  • Ten times regional championship chorus
  • Attended international competitions in Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Houston, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, Orlando, Portland, Phoenix, Detroit, Calgary and Nashville.
  • 3rd Place 2008 International Medalists after competing at the International Competition in Calgary, Alberta in October, 2007!
  • 1st Place 2008 Regional Medalists after competing at the Region 26 Competition in Surrey, BC, April 12, 2008!
  • Winners of the Barbershop Category in CBC Choral 2008, the annual CBC Choral Competition for Amateur Choirs across Canada.
  • 2nd Place 2010 International Medalists after competing at the International Competition in Nashville, Tennessee in October, 2009!
